Soon after setting up ABInBev's in-house agency the world was hit by Covid. Pubs were shut. We were tasked with working out how to help our suffering landlords and ladies. We're incredibly proud with the activation we invented: An eGiftcard scheme that meant people could support their local in lockdown. 20000 eGiftcards were sold. In the UK 1500 pubs received £1.2m in donations. The scheme then got picked by 21 different markets, bringing in $11.56m of funds for local venues. Save Pub Life won at awards shows too: PR Week Awards - Best Use of Media Relations, One Show - Merit for Social Impact.

Bud Light was the first brand to appear on Cameo- the platform where celebs say whatever you want! We recruited them to wish people a happy birthday during lockdown. This was a reactive, data-driven campaign. We involved a host of different celebs and promoted each one. The bloke from Inbetweeners came out a clear winner so our remaining digital ad spend went behind him.
